We are looking for a **Lifeguard, Pool** to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute, learn and grow while helping shape the experiences and impact we create across Costa Navarino.

In this position, you will ensure the safety and well-being of guests within the pool areas by monitoring activities, preventing accidents and responding to emergencies, while upholding Costa Navarino’s high standards of safety, service and hospitality.

### **Responsibilities**

-   Ensure the safety of guests and associates by monitoring pool activities and responding promptly to incidents.
-   Maintain clear and professional communication with guests, colleagues and other resort departments.
-   Provide first aid and emergency care until emergency services arrive.
-   Maintain a professional appearance and deliver high standards of guest service.
-   Monitor pool activities continuously to help prevent accidents and ensure guest safety.
-   Enforce pool safety regulations and advise guests on unsafe activities.
-   Open, close and secure the assigned pool area, checking rescue and safety equipment and reporting maintenance needs.
-   Maintain lifeguarding skills and participate in required training sessions, safety drills and emergency simulations.
-   Follow health and safety procedures, hotel policies and Brand Standards.

## Requirements

-   Valid Professional Pool Lifeguard License.
-   Valid First Aid and Basic Life Support (CPR/AED) certification.
-   Minimum 2 seasons of lifeguard experience. Experience in a luxury hotel or resort will be considered an advantage.
-   Moderate command of written and spoken English, including lifeguarding and first aid terminology.
-   Knowledge of pool safety equipment, rescue devices, hazard identification and accident prevention.
-   Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively to emergencies.
-   Strong communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills.
-   Good time management, adaptability and decision-making skills.
-   Ability to follow company policies, operational procedures and Brand Standards.
