The destination comprises several distinct sites featuring five-star hotels, luxury private residences, a world-class golf experience, and many year-round activities. Navarino Dunes is home to The Romanos, a Luxury Collection Resort, The Westin Resort Costa Navarino and Costa Navarino Residences. Navarino Bay is the setting for Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino, W Costa Navarino and Navarino Agora, a curated marketplace. Both sites have signature golf courses, while at Navarino Hills there are two further signature golf courses.

Costa Navarino is looking for a Lifeguard Team Leader. The Lifeguard Team Leader is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all guests, overseeing team operations, and meeting company targets. They manage team schedules, HR tasks, and maintain effective communication across departments. The role involves providing emergency care, enforcing safety regulations, and ensuring the team follows all health, safety, and organizational standards.

**Responsibilities**

-   Responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all guests and associates, by acting quickly and appropriately at all times.
-   Meet the team and company targets, as set by the Line manager. Responsible for the allocated workload. Ought to contribute towards the smooth running of the organization in general. Responsible for the HR admin tasks / roster of the team and rotation needs.
-   Ensuring that the organization meets all required security and associated health and safety objectives.
-   Maintain good communication between the department, other departments, and all guests.
-   Provide emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services. Prepare and maintain appropriate incident reports.
-   Present professional appearance and attitude at all times and maintain a high standard of customer service.
-   Possess the mobility to work in an office setting and use standard office equipment, including a computer, read printed materials and utilize computer screen, communicate in person or by using a telephone and radio.
-   Provides pool-beach safety and supervision for guests, monitors activities in the water to prevent accidents and to ensure the safety and well-being of guests. Implements and monitors policies and procedures, enforces regulations, cautions guests regarding unsafe activities.
-   Ability to open-close, and securing the area of duty, check equipment for its functionality, and recommend maintenance, as needed.
-   Perform all required lifeguard-training skills as needed. Participate in required training sessions, including safety drills and other emergency procedures.
-   Follow all H&S rules, hotel policies, SOPs, and Brand Standards at all times. Guide and encourage team to do the same.
-   Attend all trainings and seminars provided by the company and continuously remain updated for all trends and market news

## Requirements

-   Minimum 2 years of experience as lifeguard, preferably in 5\* hospitality environment
-   Minimum 1 year of supervising lifeguards will be an asset
-   Minimum 1 year of experience as Seafront Lifeguard
-   Highschool Diploma, bachelor degree preferred
-   Lifeguard Certification
-   Fluency in English & Greek
-   Ability to handle difficult and or stressful situations
-   Ability to maintain/adhere to company Brand Standards, Policies & SOPs
-   Able to work under pressure and under supervision
-   Develop effective working relationships internally & externally / Ability to work in a team
-   Managing crisis situations / Spotting hazards and preventing accidents / Excellent managing of rescue boat
-   Communication Skills Spoken and Written / Decision making and Negotiation Skills / flexibility & adaptability / Planning, Organizing and Time management and multi-tasking / problem solving skills / Creative and Sustainable Thinking
