Credence has an immediate need for an IT System Administrator at the journeyman level supporting our Air Combat Command (ACC) Intelligence Directorate (A2) program out of Langley AFB, VA.

This position will be supporting A21.

**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below:**

-   Provide life-cycle maintenance, logistics, and mission-critical technical support for fielded C2/C4I assets operating on NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, and other military networks.
-   Support workstations, laptops, monitors, printers, network infrastructure, servers, SIPR and JWICS VTC systems, desktop VTC systems, SAN/NAS platforms, and mobile devices across nine ACC A2 work centers at Langley AFB.
-   Perform preventive and remedial maintenance in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) recommendations and specifications.
-   Purchase, maintain, and manage spare parts and materials inventory using commercial or Government sources, as needed.
-   Track and use warranties to maintain more than 900 assets.
-   Ship and receive assets through commercial and military channels, including completing bills of lading and verifying delivery.
-   Install, de-install, relocate, upgrade, and configure hardware and software.
-   Create, install, and remove cabling and supporting infrastructure, including raceways and conduit, in coordination with MAJCOM or Air Force Network Operations (AFNETOPS) representatives.
-   Recommend locations and configurations for new installations and system reconfigurations.
-   Create and update diagrams and documentation supporting Information Assurance (IA), Configuration Management, and Government requirements for eight or more secure work centers.
-   Perform and maintain change control, configuration management, and associated documentation.
-   Coordinate configuration and IA changes with host-base communications squadrons or supporting agencies, the base Cyberspace Systems Integrator (CSI), AFNETOPS, and other controlling organizations.
-   Document and provide lessons learned and best practices.
-   Provide familiarization and on-the-job training on C4I hardware maintenance and interconnectivity to active-duty and civilian personnel, typically quarterly.
-   Perform checklist-based system administration duties, including operating system support, client software installation, patching, and driver installation, while deferring matters requiring System Administrator judgment to assigned administrators.
-   Perform basic network administration needed to install and troubleshoot IP-based assets, including IP configuration and connectivity troubleshooting.
-   Assist with Government accountability inventories and preparation of outdated equipment for Defense Reutilization Management Office (DRMO) processing.
-   Manage internal network devices and coordinate problem resolution with network service providers.
-   Troubleshoot and remediate failures on IP-based networks.
-   Operate NSA-approved network encryption devices, storage area networks, network-attached storage, and related network infrastructure.
-   Administer Windows- and Unix-based servers and workstations at the operating system and application levels in physical and virtual environments.
-   Support installed mission applications through updates, releases, patches, and Time Compliant Network Orders (TCNOs).
-   Maintain and review system audit logs for failures, failure prediction, and IA accountability.
-   Create, manage, schedule, and test system backups in accordance with approved plans.
-   Perform basic database maintenance in accordance with an AMIC COR-approved plan and schedule.
-   Implement and follow IA policies and procedures in compliance with Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and AFNETOPS directives.
-   Accept and complete approximately 2,000 trouble tickets quarterly for supported applications.
-   Manage OEM software support for C2 and Intelligence Systems.
-   Serve as the central point of contact for the operation and maintenance of point-to-point and multipoint audio and video conferencing hardware and software.
-   Coordinate special VTC equipment and room configurations with users and remote-site facilitators.
-   Explain VTC settings and options and provide remote and on-site training to room facilitators, conference participants, and equipment users.
-   Maintain, troubleshoot, and remediate VTC suites; conduct quarterly test calls; and support all VTC equipment and peripheral devices.
-   Engage enterprise VTC technical support and assist with advanced troubleshooting when needed.
-   Load and configure VTC software applications and troubleshoot connection anomalies to ensure optimal operation and immediate problem resolution.
-   Lead and manage directorate Information Technology Equipment Custodians (ITECs).
-   Maintain accountability for assets listed on the assigned Asset Information Management (AIM) account in accordance with applicable Department of the Air Force guidance.
-   Maintain accurate asset records, conduct quarterly AIM inventories, and prepare outdated equipment for DRMO processing each quarter.
-   Train directorate ITECs on established inventory and DRMO procedures at least semiannually.
-   Interface professionally with Government personnel at all levels of command while maintaining high-quality service and customer support.

## Requirements

-   Must have an active Top Secret security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) eligibility.
-   Must have three (3) to ten (10) years of experience and a BA/BS or MA/MS degree. A Journeyman labor category typically performs all functional duties independently.
-   Current DoD 8570/8140 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification.
-   Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with IT maintenance, logistics, and life-cycle support for Government networks, C2/C4I assets, and VTC systems.
-   Experience installing, upgrading, administering, and troubleshooting hardware, operating systems, client software, servers, network devices, and mission systems.
-   Experience resolving equipment, network, and mission-system interoperability issues.
-   Experience managing IT assets, inventories, warranties, configuration records, and equipment accountability throughout the system life cycle.
-   Working knowledge of Windows- and Unix-based environments, IP networking, physical and virtual systems, SAN/NAS platforms, and secure network operations.
-   Ability to comply with DISA STIGs, AFNETOPS directives, Information Assurance requirements, configuration-management processes, and applicable Department of the Air Force asset-accountability guidance.
-   Ability to coordinate effectively with Government personnel, communications squadrons, cyberspace integrators, network service providers, OEM support organizations, and other mission partners.

**Salary Range:** $90,000- $105,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate's experience, education, skills, and overall qualifications.
