**Role Overview**

We are seeking a versatile, highly skilled Fleet Mechanic to maintain, diagnose, and repair our diverse lineup of commercial vehicles and heavy demolition equipment. From semis and roll-off trucks to excavators and skid steers, you will be the primary line of defense against equipment downtime. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver with a strong background in diesel mechanics, heavy hydraulics, and structural welding repairs.

## Requirements

**Required Qualifications**

-   **Mechanical Experience:** Proven, hands-on experience maintaining and repairing both commercial diesel trucks and heavy earth-moving equipment.

-   **System Knowledge:** Deep technical understanding of diesel engine diagnostics, complex hydraulic circuits, heavy-duty suspensions, and air brake systems.
-   **Safety Focus:** Uncompromising commitment to shop safety protocols, heavy lifting standards, and hazardous materials handling (fluids, batteries).
-   **Mobility:** Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

**Preferred Qualifications**

-   **Welding Expertise:** Strong background in MIG and Stick (SMAW) welding, specifically related to heavy equipment repair and high-stress structural steel.
-   **CDL:** A valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) to test drive and transport commercial vehicles.
-   **Certifications:** ASE Medium-Heavy Truck certifications, fluid power (hydraulics) certifications, or specific manufacturer training (e.g., CAT, Bobcat, Mack, Kenworth).
