## Description

We are recruiting a **German-speaking Customer Support Agent** to join an exciting **international retail customer service project** based in **Umhlanga, Durban**.

In this role, you will support German-speaking customers by providing professional assistance across multiple channels, ensuring an excellent retail and shopping experience.

As a Customer Support Agent, you will:

-   Handle customer queries in **German** via phone, email, and live chat
-   Assist customers with retail-related inquiries such as orders, deliveries, returns, and product information
-   Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly service in line with brand expectations
-   Resolve customer complaints and escalate complex cases when necessary
-   Maintain detailed records of all interactions in internal systems
-   Meet service quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction targets
-   Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to enhance customer experience

## Requirements

To qualify for this role, you should meet the following criteria:

-   **German language proficiency between B2 and C2 level** (written and spoken)
-   Good command of English for internal communication
-   **Matric / Grade 12 qualification is essential**
-   Customer service or call centre experience is advantageous (retail experience is a plus)
-   Strong communication and problem-solving skills
-   Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
-   Comfortable working rotational shifts, including weekends if required
-   Basic computer skills and ability to navigate support systems
