**Position Summary**

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Auto Mechanic to join our team at Universal Motorcars. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Perform diagnostics and repairs on various vehicle systems including brakes, engines, transmissions, and suspension.
-   Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
-   Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical issues and recommend appropriate repairs.
-   Keep accurate records of repair work and maintenance performed.
-   Work closely with service advisors and other team members to ensure timely and effective service delivery.
-   Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

## Requirements

-   Minimum of 3 years of experience as an auto mechanic or similar role.
-   Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanical systems and diagnostic tools.
-   ASE certification or equivalent mechanical certification preferred.
-   Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
-   Good communication skills and customer-oriented attitude.
-   High school diploma or equivalent required; technical vocational training is a plus.
-   Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
