The Housekeeper/Laundry Aide is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. Duties include cleaning resident rooms and common areas, collecting and sorting laundry, washing, drying, folding, and delivering clean linens and resident clothing. The Housekeeper/Laundry Aide follows infection control and safety procedures and works as part of the team to provide a welcoming environment for our residents.

## Requirements

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

-   Keeping a neat overall appearance of surroundings.
-   Follows instructions willingly, able to meet deadlines, punctual, and dependable.
-   Must be able to use standard cleaning equipment.
-   Must have initiative to determine cleaning needs.
-   Must be able to communicate well and process information accurately.
-   Adheres to Federal/State regulations and guidelines, including Resident Rights.
-   Performing related duties.
