## Description

Position Overview

Cache Valley Electric is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented **Project Coordinator** to join our Line Division.

In this role, you will directly support **2–4 Project Managers** in the planning, coordination, documentation, and execution of transmission line, substation, and utility infrastructure projects.

The Project Coordinator will serve as an important connection between our Project Managers, field teams, customers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal departments. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys staying organized, managing multiple priorities, and helping project teams keep complex construction projects moving forward.

What You'll Do

-   Provide day-to-day project support for **2–4 Project Managers** within the Line Division
-   Assist with project startup, ongoing project administration, and project closeout
-   Maintain project documentation, files, logs, and records
-   Assist with preparing, submitting, and tracking **RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, and other project documentation**
-   Track outstanding project items and follow up with appropriate team members to ensure deadlines are met
-   Coordinate communication between Project Managers, field leadership, customers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal CVE departments
-   Assist Project Managers with meeting preparation, meeting notes, action items, and follow-up
-   Help maintain project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and look-ahead items
-   Assist with procurement and tracking of materials and equipment
-   Coordinate with vendors and suppliers regarding pricing, availability, delivery dates, and documentation
-   Assist with tracking project costs, commitments, invoices, and other financial information
-   Support Project Managers with change management and documentation
-   Help prepare project reports and provide updates on outstanding action items
-   Assist with manpower, equipment, and project resource coordination as needed
-   Maintain accurate and organized electronic project records
-   Assist with customer and contractor documentation requirements
-   Support project closeout, including collection and organization of required closeout documentation
-   Identify missing information or potential issues and proactively communicate them to the appropriate Project Manager
-   Perform additional project coordination responsibilities as needed to support the Line Division

What We're Looking For

-   Strong organizational skills with the ability to support multiple Project Managers and projects simultaneously
-   Excellent attention to detail and follow-through
-   Strong written and verbal communication skills
-   Ability to prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced construction environment
-   Comfortable communicating with Project Managers, field personnel, customers, vendors, and subcontractors
-   Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including **Excel, Outlook, Word, and Teams**
-   Ability to learn and work within construction project management and document-control systems
-   Self-motivated and able to take ownership of assigned responsibilities
-   Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to ask questions when additional information is needed

## Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

-   Previous experience in **construction project coordination, project administration, or project engineering**
-   Experience within electrical construction, utilities, transmission, substations, or heavy civil construction
-   Familiarity with construction documentation, including RFIs, submittals, purchase orders, change orders, contracts, and closeout documentation
-   Experience supporting multiple Project Managers simultaneously
