## Description

Position: Parabroker

Working Hours & Conditions: Aligned with AU hours; full-time - remote

OVERVIEW:

The Parabroker acts as a high-level extension of the broker, combining loan processing, credit analysis, lender research, and deal packaging capability. This role helps the broker step away from day-to-day file work and focus on client acquisition, client relationships, and closing business.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

-   End-to-End File Management: Manage and progress loan applications smoothly from initial data entry through to submission, approval, and settlement.
-   Client Retention & Repricing: Proactively review and manage the existing loan book, executing repricing strategies to ensure current customers maintain highly competitive rates and long-term satisfaction.
-   Customer Liaison: Act as a primary point of contact for clients via phone and email; provide timely file updates, answer complex enquiries, and diplomatically follow up on outstanding documentation.
-   Compliance & Quality Assurance: Maintain a rigorous focus on compliance, ensuring all files, data entries, and submissions meet strict industry regulatory requirements and internal standards.
-   Process Optimization: Embrace and utilize AI tools and innovative workflows to continuously improve processing times, eliminate operational bottlenecks, and enhance efficiency.
-   Administrative Support: Keep internal systems seamlessly organized, uploading and managing documentation across cloud platforms and CRM databases.

## Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

-   Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of dedicated experience as a Parabroker, Broker Support Officer, or Loan Processor within the mortgage industry.
-   System Expertise: Proven, hands-on proficiency in industry-standard software, specifically MyCRM, Applyonline, and Simpology.
-   Technical Literacy: Strong competency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and cloud storage solutions (Dropbox).
-   Compliance Mindset: A sharp eye for detail with a proven track record of maintaining flawless compliance standards in financial services.
-   Execution Skills: Exceptional organizational and time-management capabilities, with the ability to self-manage a high volume of files from start to finish.
-   Communication Styles: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a natural ability to build trust and rapport with clients over the phone. 

PREFERRED (NOT REQUIRED):

-   Certification: Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking (or equivalent).
