As part of the preparation of a major newbuilding programme for one of our clients, d2m services is currently seeking experienced professionals for the position of **Site Manager**.

The successful candidate will join the owner's supervision team for the construction of a next-generation RoRo vessel to be built at a major Asian shipyard. Project mobilisation is currently planned for 2027.

**Key Responsibilities**

Reporting to the Owner's Project Manager, the Site Manager will be responsible for:

-   Acting as the Owner's representative on site throughout the construction programme.
-   Coordinating the owner's supervision team.
-   Managing the day-to-day relationship with the shipyard.
-   Monitoring construction progress, quality and schedule.
-   Coordinating technical meetings and resolving construction issues.
-   Monitoring non-conformities and corrective actions.
-   Preparing regular progress reports for the Owner's project team.
-   Supporting harbour trials, sea trials and final vessel delivery.

## Requirements

-   Degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering or equivalent.
-   Significant experience supervising newbuilding projects.
-   Proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams on shipyard projects.
-   Good knowledge of Classification Society requirements.
-   Fluent English is essential.
-   Previous experience working in Asian shipyards would be an advantage.
