**As an intern in Danaos Shipping**

You will have the opportunity to be a part in one of the following departments, according to your specialty.

-   Crew (for Maritime students)
-   SQE (for Maritime, Naval Architecture or Mechanical Engineering students)
-   Accounting (for Maritime or Accounting students)
-   HR & Training (for Maritime students)
-   Internal Audit (for Maritime students)
-   Danaos Research Center (for Computer Science, Maritime, Naval Architecture or Mechanical Engineering students)
-   Technical (for Naval Architecture or Mechanical Engineering students)
-   Procurement (for Maritime students)

-   IT (for Computer Science or Information Technology students)

The timeframe of internship positions is between summer period and the duration is according to each University terms.

During your internship journey you will be assigned to a team where you are going to learn how to perform allocated duties, and you will undertake an internship project assignment.

## Requirements

**The ideal candidate should have**

·         Eligibility to attend an internship program through a relative Bsc or Msc degree

·         Student in Maritime, Naval Architecture, Computer Science or any relative discipline

·         Familiarity with English language

·         Computer literacy

·         Eagerness to learn and perform within a shipping company department

·         Good teamwork and communication skills
