# AI and Automation Lead (Finance Operations Transformation) > Datacom · Manila, Philippines (Hybrid) · Full-time · Posted 2026-06-18 **Workplace:** hybrid **Department:** Corp Group Finance ## Description ### Role Overview and Objectives The AI and Automation Lead (Finance Operations Transformation) is responsible for advancing AI, automation, and process innovation across finance operations. Acting as both an AI builder and transformation lead, this role designs, develops, and deploys AI-driven solutions, including AI agents, to improve financial processes and reporting. The successful candidate will partner closely with Finance Team Leads and accountants to reimagine workflows, improve efficiency, and embed intelligent automation into the finance operating model. ### Key Responsibilities _The_ AI and Automation Lead (Finance Operations Transformation) _is responsible for (but not limited to):_ **AI & Automation Development** - Designing, building, and deploying AI agents and automation solutions to streamline finance processes (e.g., reconciliations, reporting, controls). - Developing scalable AI capabilities leveraging modern tools (e.g., machine learning, generative AI, data pipelines). - Partnering with the Finance team to identify opportunities to replace manual tasks with intelligent, automated workflows. **Finance Transformation Leadership** - Driving end-to-end finance transformation initiatives, working on ideas from finance leadership to implementation and adoption. - Working with Finance Operations to re-design finance processes to be digital-first, data-driven, and automated. - Establishing best practices and frameworks for continuous improvement in finance operations. **Business Partnering & Change Management** - Acting as a translator between finance and technology, ensuring practical, usable solutions. - Partnering with Finance Operations, and stakeholders to co-design and implement AI-enabled solutions. - Supporting the Finance Ops team to drive change management initiatives, including training, communication, and adoption strategies. **Process and Reporting Optimization** - Transforming financial reporting through automation, standardization, and AI-assisted insights. - Enhancing data quality, governance, and accessibility to enable better decision-making. - Building intelligent, dashboards and reporting tools that reduce manual intervention. **Innovation and Capability Building** - Staying at the forefront of AI trends, tools, and applications in finance. - Building internal capability by coaching and upskilling finance teams on automation and AI usage. - Establishing a roadmap for ongoing AI-driven transformation within the Finance team. ## Requirements **Knowledge** - Understanding of process design and transformation, operating model improvement and internal controls. - Awareness of AI, automation, and digital tools in finance operations, including opportunities, risks, governance, and data quality requirements. - Knowledge of ERP, planning, visualization, or workflow automation platforms used in modern finance functions. **Experience** - Hands-on experience building or deploying AI solutions, automation tools, or data driven systems. - Experience working with cross-functional teams and driving change in complex organizations. - Preferred proven experience in transformation, process improvement, or automation roles. - Experience working with finance automation, advanced analytics, or AI-enabled tools within finance operations. - Exposure to continuous improvement, Lean, or process redesign methodologies. **Skills** - Experience with AI/ML tools, automation platforms (e.g., Power Platform, Python, RPA tools). - Strong data skills (SQL, data modelling, analytics tools). - Familiarity with APIs, middleware and data pipelines. - Experience working with ERP financial systems - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills - Understanding of AI agent frameworks and workflow orchestration is highly desirable. - Oracle Netsuite and Enterprise Data Warehouse experience will be a plus. - Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical users - Ability to lead through ambiguity, support change, and balance strategic thinking with operational delivery. - Competence in identifying where AI agents and digital tools can safely improve finance workflows and insight generation. ## Benefits Our office is at BGC Taguig and we have hybrid work setup (Twice a week) and we promote Work-Life balance, and an APAC focus means no graveyard shifts!
