**Salary:** unknown currency 100,000–130,000

**Workplace:** hybrid

**Department:** SaaS Product Business Operations

## Description

**Our Why**

Datacom works with organisations and communities across Australia and New Zealand to make a difference in people’s lives and help organisations use the power of tech to innovate and grow.

**About the Role (your why)**

As part of our SaaS Growth & Revenue function, the Product Marketing Manager will play a key part in driving the execution of Datacom’s SaaS product marketing strategy. Collaborating closely with GTM, Partnerships, Product, Sales, Customer Success, Professional Services, and Marketing teams, you’ll ensure our SaaS products are positioned for ongoing success in the ANZ market. Reporting to GM Product Marketing & Customer Research, you will focus on execution that creates strong market impact—crafting highly resonant messaging, maximising industry sponsorship value, supporting sales enablement, and driving customer adoption and commercial success. AI fluency and the ability to design and deploy agentic workflows are central to how this role operates, enabling faster execution, sharper insight, and greater leverage across the function.

Our office is based in Auckland. We like to bring people together in person when we can, but we are mindful of the benefits of working from home for work/life balance. We therefore leave it to you and the team you join to figure out what works best!

**What you’ll do As Product Marketing Manager, you will be focused on:**

- Creating clear and compelling product positioning and messaging that resonates with target customers and differentiates Datacom’s SaaS offerings.
- Executing go-to-market strategies and growth initiatives in collaboration with GTM and other internal stakeholders.
- Driving content creation and amplification through omnichannel growth calendars to build awareness, engagement, and pipeline across target segments.
- Supporting development of collateral and training to empower Sales and Customer Success teams.
- Partnering with Sales, Product, and Success teams to drive product uptake and monitor adoption metrics.
- Managing product launches and ensuring aligned, successful execution.
- Leading customer and market research efforts to refine product marketing strategy and messaging.
- Using data and feedback to continuously optimise product marketing activities throughout the product lifecycle.
- We are a pretty agile company, and are keen to respond to customer, technology and internal stakeholders’ changing requirements—and this can mean we evolve in our roles to meet those needs.

**What you’ll bring**

**Required experience:**

- 6+ years of product marketing experience in a B2B SaaS or technology company.
- Demonstrated AI fluency – experience building agentic workflows, using AI tools to scale content production, and integrating AI into product marketing execution. This is a working-with-AI role, not an interested-in-AI role.
- Strong understanding of B2B SaaS, product marketing, and go-to-market strategy.
- Proven ability to execute product marketing initiatives from positioning through launch.
- Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Advanced degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Strong SaaS content creation skills.

**Nice to have:**

- Proven research capability (market research and Voice of Customer).
- Experience mentoring or guiding junior team members.
- Ability to analyse data and optimise product marketing strategies.
- Understanding of complex technical SaaS features and ability to simplify them for customers.
