### **The Opportunity**

Datacom is looking for a Azure Architect to join our Public Cloud practice on a contract basis. This is a hands-on technical leadership role focused on delivering large-scale cloud migration and modernisation programs for enterprise customers. If you have deep Azure migration expertise and thrive in a consulting environment, we want to hear from you.

### **What You'll Be Doing**

-   Leading end-to-end Azure migration engagements across the full lifecycle — discovery, design, and delivery
-   Conducting portfolio assessments and workload rationalisation using the 7 R framework
-   Designing Azure Landing Zones and subscription structures aligned to the Cloud Adoption Framework
-   Delivering migration, re-platforming, and refactoring solutions using IaC and DevOps practices
-   Leveraging Azure native tooling including Azure Migrate, Azure Database Migration Service, and Azure Site Recovery
-   Leading technical teams and third parties through complex, multi-wave migration programs
-   Engaging directly with clients — presenting solutions, managing stakeholders, and driving outcomes

### **What You'll Need**

-   10+ years in IT, with at least 5 years in consulting and/or project delivery
-   Proven experience delivering large-scale Azure migrations (500+ workloads preferred)
-   Strong hands-on capability across Azure migration and modernisation tooling
-   **Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert** (required)
-   Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert (highly desirable)
-   Experience designing Azure Landing Zones using the Cloud Adoption Framework
-   Familiarity with AI-assisted tooling and Azure AI services is a plus
-   Strong communication and client engagement skills
