**About the Role**

We are looking for an experienced Delivery Lead / Consultant to join us on a contract through to June 2027. In this role, you'll play a key part in coordinating the successful delivery of application and technology initiatives, working closely with customers, Product Owners, technical specialists, and delivery teams to ensure work is planned, tracked, and delivered effectively.

Acting as the central point of coordination across multiple stakeholders, you'll help manage delivery activities, change processes, service requests, and project reporting while ensuring governance and operational requirements are met. This is an opportunity for a contractor who enjoys bringing structure, driving momentum, and keeping complex delivery programmes on track.

**This role is based in Wellington and requires an active NZDF security clearance.**

**What You'll Do**

-   Coordinate the delivery of application and technology initiatives, ensuring work is planned, tracked, and delivered against agreed timeframes.
-   Manage delivery backlogs, work items, user stories, and delivery plans using Azure DevOps.
-   Oversee change requests and service requests, ensuring they are progressed, approved, implemented, and closed in a timely manner.
-   Act as the key liaison between customers, delivery teams, and technical stakeholders to maintain clear communication and alignment.
-   Monitor risks, issues, dependencies, and milestones, escalating where required to support successful outcomes.
-   Provide regular status reporting on delivery progress, change activity, and key project metrics.
-   Support sprint planning, prioritisation activities, and resource coordination across delivery teams.
-   Ensure delivery governance, change management, and operational processes are consistently followed.
-   Facilitate workshops, meetings, and stakeholder discussions to support delivery outcomes.
-   Assist with project completion activities, service transitions, financial administration, and operational handovers.

**What You'll Bring**

### **Essential**

-   Proven experience in a contract Delivery Lead, Project Coordinator, Service Delivery, or similar role within a technology environment.
-   Strong experience using Azure DevOps for work management, delivery tracking, and backlog management.
-   Experience managing change requests and service requests within an IT service management environment.
-   Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and maintain strong working relationships with customers and technical teams.
-   Experience facilitating meetings, workshops, and customer-facing engagements.
-   Strong communication, reporting, and organisational skills.
-   Good understanding of technical change management processes and delivery governance.
-   Working knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies and service management practices.
-   Broad understanding of technology infrastructure projects and associated dependencies.
-   Knowledge of financial administration and project reporting processes.

### **Desirable**

-   ITIL Foundation knowledge or certification.
-   Experience supporting the deployment of enterprise network solutions or similar technology environments.
-   Project Management, Agile, or Scrum certification.
-   A qualification in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
-   Understanding of networking, network security, and cloud networking concepts and services.
