**Workplace:** on_site

**Department:** Growth

## Description

**Company:**

David creates tools to increase muscle and decrease fat. Our first product is a protein bar. This is a compelling opportunity to join an exciting new brand as we enter a critical growth stage and cross over into the fashion industry. David is led by CEO Peter Rahal, the Cofounder and Former CEO of RXBAR ($600M exit to Kellogg in 2017).

**Role:**

We’re looking for an entrepreneurial generalist who can build a new apparel brand’s marketing function from the ground up. This role will own social media, customer experience, and day-to-day marketing operations and will be instrumental in how the brand shows up at launch and beyond.

You’ll work closely with the CEO, Special Projects Manager, and external partners to build campaigns, content, and customer touchpoints that drive growth and loyalty. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in ambiguity, moves fast without sacrificing quality, and has a genuine passion for fashion and culture.

**Responsibilities:**

**Social media**

- Develop a social media and content strategy across platforms.
- Own and manage the content calendar.
- Monitor and respond to comments, DMs, and mentions.
- Support organic, influencer, and partnership strategies.
- Regularly track and report on social performance metrics.

**Customer experience**

- Ensure day-to-day customer experience operations run smoothly and deliver a high-quality experience.
- Monitor customer feedback and service trends, surfacing insights that inform product, marketing, and operational decisions.
- Serve as the customer advocate internally – identifying issues, escalating where needed, and finding ways to surprise and delight.

**Generalist operations, which may include:**

- Supporting events and popups.
- Owning marketing platforms and coordinating agency partners.
- Managing day-to-day website updates.
- Coordinating product seeding.
- Reporting on marketing performance metrics across channels.
- Owning ad hoc projects.

## Requirements

- 2+ years of experience in marketing or a high-intensity environment (e.g., hypergrowth startup, consulting, investment banking). Experience in fashion is preferred.
- Deeply plugged into fashion culture and media.
- High intellectual horsepower with strong judgment, accuracy, and problem-solving ability.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-responsibility environment with limited structure.
- A bias for action with the ability to move quickly, test aggressively, and execute independently.
- Humility, curiosity, and a drive to build an iconic brand.

## Benefits

- Full-time, in-office role based in New York City. We work onsite five days a week - when the culture fits, it is fun to be in the office together.
- Cash compensation: $115-130k per year, dependent on experience. Range is inclusive of bonus.
- Equity opportunity on top of cash compensation.
- 100% covered Health, Vision, Dental Insurance
- 401(k) with 4% match
- Additional perks, such as covered gym expenses
- Substantial and required PTO
