**About the role**

An exciting opportunity has opened up in **Portfolio Management Group – Investment Function Team**.

We are seeking an experienced, motivated, detail‑oriented fund governance lead to own our engagement, as Investment Manager and sponsor, with the board and service providers of Davy’s regulated funds with c. €9bn AUM. It is ideal for someone who can operate at board level and take ownership of the governance processes that underpin regulatory oversight and investment governance across the platform. The role is the primary point of accountability for the Investment Manager’s relationship with the ManCo, the administrator and the board.

In the role, the successful candidate will:

- Lead all aspects of the Investment Manager’s engagement with the fund board(s) and service providers, including regular engagement with the ManCo and the administrator/depository.
- Lead senior engagement, performance governance and escalation management across the external provider model. Ensure robust MI, service standards, issues tracking and evidence‑based oversight appropriate to the scale and complexity of the platform.
- Coordinate resolution of issues arising on Davy managed funds, including tax issues, board requests and information requests from the ManCo, board or administrator.
- Act as a central business lead on the Investment Management Programme, driving improvements to the investment team’s technology and data platform, systems and workflows.
- Lead the governance of fund events: fund launches, share class launches, fee changes, prospectus and legal document updates, benchmark and strategy changes, mergers and closures etc.
- Be accountable for all Investment Manager content in UCITS board packs, including any incidents, key distribution trends, exceptions and remediation, and own responses to board queries.
- Respond to information requests from the ManCo, board and administrator, and coordinate the firm’s input across internal teams.
- Build a disciplined governance culture with clear ownership, rapid escalation, strong documentation and continuous improvement in control design and operational resilience.

## Requirements

**About you**

We are looking for somebody who has the following background and skills:

- 10–15+ years in UCITS fund governance / fund operations / investment management oversight within an asset manager, ManCo or relevant background.

- Strong track record in delegated operating models (ManCo / administrator / sub‑IM), with a demonstrable ability to drive outcomes through influence, governance and escalation.
- Comfortable operating at board level: clear reporting, structured thinking, concise communication and constructive challenge.
- Strong understanding of UCITS funds, portfolio reporting and regulatory data requirements (CBI, ESMA, UCITS). AIF experience an advantage.
- Good working understanding of investment data structures (holdings, benchmarks, transactions, pricing, corporate actions, FX, analytics) and the operational issues that drive board‑level governance.
- Experience coordinating with administrators, custodians and ManCos on fund events and issue resolution.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy; highly organised, able to manage multiple deliverables and strict deadlines.
- Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and problem‑solving capability.
