## Description

Denison is seeking a **Seasonal Labourer** to provide general field and maintenance support for care and maintenance at closed mine sites in the Elliot Lake area. This role supports site upkeep, vegetation management, equipment maintenance, and general field operations while ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently. This position involves a combination of outdoor fieldwork, equipment operation, and site support activities across multiple project areas. This is a **4-month contract** position, with an anticipated end date of September 30, with an hourly pay range of $22-$25.

**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:**

-   Support vegetation management activities, including brush removal and herbicide application
-   Perform general site management activities, including road, building, and field upkeep
-   Operate and maintain tools, equipment, and light mobile equipment as required
-   Complete inspections, logbooks, field documentation, and safety paperwork
-   Support field monitoring and environmental maintenance activities as assigned
-   Work in accordance with health, safety, environmental, and operational procedures
-   Collaborate with internal teams and contractors to support ongoing site activities

## Requirements

You are a reliable, safety-focused individual who enjoys hands-on outdoor work and is comfortable working in industrial and remote environments. You are adaptable, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. In addition, you bring:

-   A high school diploma
-   1-2 years of experience in mining, industrial, or outdoor labor environments
-   Valid Herbicide Applicator Certification (Ontario) or the ability to obtain certification
-   Experience operating hand tools, power tools, and mobile equipment is considered an asset
-   Basic computer skills, including MS Office
-   Strong communication and organizational skills
-   A valid driver’s license in good standing
-   Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in varying weather conditions
