## Description

### **About Vector Design Group**

Vector Design Group is the architecture and design arm of Denton Floyd Real Estate Group, a vertically integrated real estate platform headquartered in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Vector partners directly with Denton Floyd Development and Forge Construction to design multifamily and senior living communities across the Southeast and Midwest — giving designers a rare seat at the table across the full lifecycle of a project, from first concept through construction turnover.

### **Position Summary**

Vector Design Group, the in-house architecture and design division of Denton Floyd Real Estate Group, is seeking an Architecture Project Manager to lead the design delivery of multifamily and senior living communities from concept through construction documents. Reporting to the President of Vector Design, this role manages project scope, schedule, and consultant coordination while working side-by-side with Denton Floyd Development, Forge Construction, and ownership to ensure design intent carries through to a buildable, cost-conscious outcome. This is an excellent opportunity for a design professional who wants ownership of projects earlier in their career, within a vertically integrated platform where architecture, development, and construction sit under one roof.

### **Key Responsibilities**

**Project Design Management**

•      Manage architectural projects through schematic design, design development, and construction documents for multifamily and senior living communities.

•      Coordinate day-to-day design decisions with Principals, project architects, and ownership to keep projects on scope, schedule, and budget.

•      Maintain project schedules and track design milestones, deliverables, and internal review checkpoints.

•      Support due diligence and feasibility studies during early site evaluation and entitlement phases.

**Consultant & Team Coordination**

•      Coordinate with structural, civil, MEP, and landscape consultants to resolve design conflicts and maintain document consistency.

•      Manage consultant deliverables, RFIs, and submittal timelines to keep the design team aligned with the overall project schedule.

•      Facilitate internal design review meetings and document action items and resolutions.

•      Serve as a day-to-day liaison between Vector Design and the Denton Floyd Development and Forge Construction teams.

**Regulatory & Compliance Coordination**

•      Coordinate zoning, entitlement, and permitting submissions with local jurisdictions and third-party reviewers.

•      Support code compliance reviews for accessibility (ADA/FHA), life safety, and, where applicable, senior living licensing requirements.

•      Track jurisdictional comments and manage resubmission timelines through permit issuance.

**Construction Phase Support**

•      Respond to RFIs and review submittals and shop drawings for design conformance during construction.

•      Support Forge Construction's preconstruction and buyout process by clarifying design intent and scope.

•      Participate in site visits and OAC (owner-architect-contractor) meetings as needed to confirm the design is being executed as intended.

## Requirements

### **Qualifications**

**Required**

•      2–5 years of professional experience in architecture, with project management responsibility on multifamily, senior living, or similar residential projects.

•      Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related design discipline (or equivalent professional experience).

•      Proficiency in Revit and Bluebeam; working knowledge of AutoCAD.

•      Solid understanding of building codes, zoning, and accessibility requirements as they apply to multifamily and senior living design.

•      Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple project schedules and deliverables concurrently.

•      Clear written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across internal design, development, and construction teams.

**Preferred**

•      Licensure or active pursuit of architectural licensure (AXP/ARE).

•      Experience within a vertically integrated developer, builder, or design-build organization.

•      Familiarity with senior living licensing requirements (assisted living, memory care) or LIHTC/affordable housing design standards.

•      Experience in the Southeast or Mid-Atlantic multifamily markets.
