## Description

### Job purpose

As a Conflicts Analyst you will support the business in assessing new requests (being new clients and/or new business with existing clients) from a conflict and professional regulations point of view using Dentons’ and third-party research databases.

### Key responsibilities

-   Review intake requests to ensure completeness and accuracy of client and matter information
-   Conduct internal and external conflicts checks, including analysis via Dentons' internal conflicts and external databases
-   Investigate corporate structures and management profiles to support conflict, sanctions and/or AML analysis
-   Identify and escalate potential legal, commercial, sanctions, or reputational conflicts in line with firm policies
-   Coordinate with Dentons offices (within Europe region and globally) to seek relevant clearances 
-   Complete new client onboarding, or ongoing monitoring refreshes, concerning mandates which are not regulated by AML legislation or regulation
-   Assist in reviewing engagement letters, outside counsel guidelines, and confidentiality terms (where applicable)
-   Maintain accurate records and ensure data is entered and managed in accordance with firm policies
-   Identify and resolve confidential information issues by implementing information barriers and document security processes  
-   Coordinate with other team members to meet deadlines and resolve other challenges
-   Be a point of contact for others within Europe and Global Regions regarding new business intake matters
-   Coordinate with sub-teams within Europe New Business Intake to ensure appropriate assessment is undertaken
-   Ensure all new business intake submissions are reviewed and processed in line with regional and global policies of the firm
-   Support in the application of regional frameworks and requirements

## Requirements

-   Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in any discipline; a background in law, compliance, finance, or a related field is an advantage but is not required  
-   At least one year of experience performing conflict of interest, risk and compliance reviews within an international law firm
-   Familiarity with IntappOpen is preferred 
-   Fluency in English (C1 or higher) is essential due to the international nature of the role 
-   Strong research, analytical, and written communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and concisely 
-   Attention to detail and an organised approach to managing workload and administration 
-   Openness to learning, intellectual curiosity, and a flexible, team-oriented attitude 
-   Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage competing priorities effectively 
-   Commitment to high-quality client service, professionalism, and acting as an ambassador for the team 
-   Ability to thrive in an international, multicultural team environment
