<strong>DO YOU QUALIFY FOR THE DENVER POLICE LATERAL PROGRAM?</strong><strong> - </strong>Applicants must have at minimum 3 years of continuous patrol time, not to include their prior police academy time.  All the qualifications are listed in the link below: <strong>(Please note that this guide is currently being updated to reflect the new lateral charter change.  Lateral Officers only need a minimum of 2 years to 4 years of patrol experience to qualify as a Patrol Grade Officer 2, and over 4 years to qualify as a Patrol Grade Officer 1.
