### Electrical Construction Manager - Data Centre

**The Role**

Reporting to the Project/Contracts Manager, the Electrical Construction Manager will lead the delivery of electrical packages on large-scale data centre projects, ensuring works are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

**Key Responsibilities**

-   Manage and coordinate electrical installation activities across data centre projects.
-   Lead site teams, subcontractors, and supervisors to ensure safe and efficient execution of works.
-   Monitor project progress, productivity, and programme milestones, providing regular progress updates.
-   Review designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure buildability and compliance with client requirements.
-   Coordinate material procurement, deliveries, labour requirements, and site resources.
-   Chair and attend project, subcontractor, and coordination meetings.
-   Interface with clients, consultants, and other trades to ensure successful project delivery.
-   Manage quality inspections, documentation, and project closeout activities.
-   Oversee testing, commissioning, energisation, and handover of electrical systems.
-   Ensure compliance with Designer Group Health & Safety procedures, conducting site audits, toolbox talks, and safety inductions.
-   Mentor site personnel and support the development of apprentices and junior team members.

**Qualifications & Experience**

-   Proven experience managing electrical installations on large-scale data centre or mission-critical projects.
-   Strong understanding of LV/MV electrical systems, power distribution, UPS, generators, and associated infrastructure.
-   Experience coordinating testing, commissioning, and project handover activities.
-   Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, BIM models, and Navisworks outputs.
-   Strong planning, organisational, and people management skills.
-   Demonstrated track record of delivering complex projects safely, on time, and within budget.
-   Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
-   Proficient in Microsoft Office; BIM and Navisworks experience advantageous.
