# Labor Compliance Specialist > DeSilva Gates Construction · Dublin, United States · Full-time · Posted 2026-06-22 **Salary:** From USD 68,000 **Workplace:** on_site **Department:** Labor Compliance ## Description Build your career at DeSilva Gates Construction, where you’ll be part of a team delivering major infrastructure projects across Northern California.  We are seeking a detail-oriented **Labor Compliance Specialist** to join our team in **Dublin**.  This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with experience in contract administration, project administration, compliance, subcontract management or related construction support functions who is looking to expand their expertise in labor compliance.  In this role, you’ll ensure our public works and prevailing wage projects remain compliant while working with internal and external stakeholders to support successful project delivery.  **Responsibilities**  Labor Compliance Administration & Monitoring - Review certified payroll records and supporting documentation for compliance with California prevailing wage requirements, DIR regulations, apprenticeship standards, union agreements and project-specific labor compliance requirements. - Track, investigate and resolve missing certified payroll records and supporting documentation to ensure project compliance. - Monitor subcontractor labor compliance status and identify compliance deficiencies that may impact payment processing. Project Setup & Onboarding - Review project documents to identify labor compliance requirements and support project setup.  - Assist with labor compliance onboarding for new projects and subcontractors, ensuring all required documentation is received and reviewed prior to work commencement. - Participate in training, industry education and preconstruction meetings as needed. Reporting, Analysis & Record Management - Prepare, analyze and reconcile labor compliance reports, payroll data and project compliance metrics using Excel and compliance software systems. - Prepare for and support labor compliance audits and investigations. Compliance Resolution & Risk Management - Investigate, resolve and escalate complex or high-risk compliance concerns to management and recommend corrective actions. - Support resolution of labor compliance issues to maintain project compliance and minimize risk.
