## Description

**Job Overview:**  
Devsinc is seeking a **Principal Functional Consultant – Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O** with deep expertise in **Finance, Supply Chain, Retail, or Manufacturing modules**. This is a leadership role that goes beyond solution implementation—focusing on **business transformation, functional architecture, and mentoring teams** through complex ERP implementations.  
You will act as the **primary advisor and solution owner**, leading clients through the full lifecycle of D365 projects while ensuring excellence in delivery and value creation.**Key Responsibilities:**  
**Functional Leadership & Solution Ownership**

-   Lead **end-to-end implementations** of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O across core functional domains (Finance, SCM, Retail, or Manufacturing).
-   Define and drive the **functional solution architecture**, supporting both standard and customized business requirements.
-   Conduct **Fit-Gap analyses**, create detailed solution blueprints, and recommend best practice configurations.
-   Take ownership of functional tracks within ERP programs and **drive workshops, scoping, and design reviews**.

**Client Engagement & Advisory**

-   Serve as the **trusted advisor** to key business and IT stakeholders.
-   Guide clients in **business process optimization**, transformation strategy, and best-practice adoption.
-   Lead **client workshops, UAT sessions**, and provide high-quality documentation including functional specs and training material.
-   Handle escalations, lead issue resolution, and ensure client satisfaction through **quality delivery**.

**Project Delivery & Collaboration**

-   Collaborate closely with **technical architects, developers, and project managers** to ensure seamless integration and execution.
-   Manage **project scope, risk, effort estimation, and delivery plans** for functional streams.
-   Ensure **adherence to Microsoft Sure Step methodology**, LCS, and Success by Design practices.

**Mentorship & Practice Development**

-   **Mentor junior consultants**, provide knowledge-sharing sessions, and assist in their career development.
-   Contribute to the **enhancement of internal templates, tools, and functional playbooks**.
-   Assist in **pre-sales, RFP responses, and solution demonstrations** when needed.

**Qualifications:**

-   Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in **Finance, Supply Chain, Accounting, Business Administration, or Information Technology**.
-   **ACCA, CA, or MBA (Finance/Supply Chain)** strongly preferred.
-   Microsoft Certifications in **D365 F&O Finance, SCM, or Solution Architecture** are a plus.

## Requirements

**Required Experience:**

-   **7+ years** of hands-on experience in ERP consulting, with at least **5 years in Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O**.
-   Delivered at least **three full-cycle ERP implementations**, including at least one in Retail or FMCG (e.g., Grocery, CPG).
-   Strong functional knowledge of modules such as:

-   Finance: GL, AR, AP, Budgeting, Fixed Assets, Project Accounting
-   Supply Chain: Inventory, Procurement, Warehouse Management (WMS), Landed Cost, Transportation
-   Retail: POS, Commerce, Store Management

-   Ability to **map complex business requirements** to D365 functionality and design scalable solutions.

**Key Skills & Competencies:**

-   Expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 **configuration, workflows, data entities, and security roles**.
-   Excellent **analytical, presentation, and documentation skills**.
-   Strong **leadership, client management, and stakeholder engagement capabilities**.
-   Proficient in **process mapping, functional architecture, and solution validation**.
-   Experience in **multi-country rollouts** and working with international clients is a plus.
