## Description

Devsinc is looking for a **Software QA Engineer** to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in manual testing, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a good understanding of software testing processes and Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

-   Design, develop, and execute test cases based on project requirements and specifications.
-   Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and exploratory testing.
-   Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools.
-   Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues.
-   Verify bug fixes and ensure software quality before release.
-   Participate in test planning, requirement analysis, and sprint activities.
-   Prepare and maintain test documentation, test scenarios, and test reports.
-   Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing where applicable.
-   Assist in improving QA processes, testing strategies, and automation practices.
-   Ensure software applications meet quality standards and business requirements.

## Requirements

Qualifications

-   Bachelor’s degree in **Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field**.
-   **1–2 years of professional experience** in software quality assurance or software testing.
-   Strong understanding of **Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)** and **Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)**.
-   Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
-   Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
-   Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality software.

Required Skills

-   Manual Testing and Test Case Design.
-   Functional, Regression, Integration, and Smoke Testing.
-   Bug Reporting and Defect Tracking.
-   Knowledge of **Jira, Trello, or similar project management and bug-tracking tools**.
-   Basic understanding of **SQL and database testing**.
-   Familiarity with API testing tools such as **Postman**.
-   Understanding of **Agile/Scrum methodologies**.
-   Basic knowledge of **Git and version control**.
-   Exposure to automation testing tools such as **Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright** is a plus.
