## Description

Devsinc is looking for a skilled **Senior Python Engineer** with strong expertise in backend development, API integrations, system design, and building scalable, high-performance applications, along with a minimum of **3 years of professional experience in Python backend development, preferably post-graduation.**

The ideal candidate should possess **strong technical** and **problem-solving skills**, **excellent English communication abilities**, and experience working directly with international clients. This is a **client-facing role** requiring technical ownership, effective stakeholder collaboration, and the ability to deliver quality solutions in a fast-paced, services-based environment.

**Responsibilities**

-   Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications using Python.
-   Develop and integrate RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend services using Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
-   Collaborate directly with international clients to understand business requirements, lead technical discussions, propose solutions, and provide project updates.
-   Translate complex business requirements into scalable, maintainable, and efficient technical solutions.
-   Contribute to system architecture, technical design, development planning, and technical decision-making.
-   Design and optimize relational and NoSQL databases to ensure application performance, scalability, and reliability.
-   Integrate third-party APIs, cloud services, and external systems to support business and application requirements.
-   Write clean, reusable, and testable code, conduct code reviews, and enforce software engineering best practices.
-   Take ownership of complex technical challenges, troubleshoot issues, optimize application performance, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
-   Collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior developers, and actively participate in Agile development processes.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Python backend development, preferably post-graduation.
-   Strong proficiency in Python, object-oriented programming (OOP), data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving.
-   Hands-on experience with Django, Flask, or FastAPI, including RESTful API development and microservices architecture.
-   Solid understanding of system design, software architecture, design patterns, and scalable application development.
-   Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and familiarity with NoSQL databases and caching technologies (MongoDB, Redis).
-   Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
-   Understanding of asynchronous programming, background task processing, and message queues.
-   Experience with unit testing, debugging, application security, and performance optimization.
-   Strong English communication skills, with the ability to independently lead technical discussions with international clients.
-   Strong analytical, logical reasoning, and real-world problem-solving skills, with the ability to take ownership of complex technical challenges.
-   Experience in client-facing development, requirement gathering, stakeholder management, and delivering technical solutions in a services-based environment.

**Preferred Qualifications**

-   Previous experience working with US-based or international clients in a software services or IT consulting company.
-   Experience with distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and high-level or low-level system design.
-   Familiarity with Celery, RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Kubernetes.
-   Exposure to Generative AI, LLM integrations, RAG pipelines, or AI-powered applications.
-   Experience mentoring junior developers, conducting code reviews, and contributing to technical decisions.
