## Description

Devsinc is looking for a passionate **Associate Software Engineer – AI/ML** to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and deployment of AI and Machine Learning solutions that solve real-world business problems. You will work alongside experienced engineers, data scientists, and cross-functional teams to build intelligent applications, optimize machine learning models, and leverage modern AI technologies, including Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).  
  
**Responsibilities**

-   Develop, test, and maintain AI/ML applications and intelligent software solutions.
-   Build, train, evaluate, and optimize machine learning and deep learning models.
-   Work with structured and unstructured datasets for data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model development.
-   Design and implement scalable backend services to integrate AI models into production applications.
-   Develop and consume RESTful APIs for AI-powered applications.
-   Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver AI-driven solutions.
-   Implement and optimize NLP, Computer Vision, or Predictive Analytics models based on project requirements.
-   Work with Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines where applicable.
-   Monitor, evaluate, and improve model performance, accuracy, and scalability.
-   Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following software engineering best practices.
-   Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across AI/ML pipelines and deployed applications.
-   Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering standards.
-   Stay up to date with emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
-   **0–6 months of experience (including internships, academic projects, or freelance experience).**
-   Good understanding of Python programming.
-   Basic knowledge of Machine Learning concepts and algorithms.
-   Familiarity with at least one ML framework such as **Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch**.
-   Basic understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
-   Familiarity with SQL and databases.
-   Basic knowledge of Git and version control.
-   Understanding of REST APIs is a plus.
-   Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-   Excellent communication and willingness to learn.

### **Nice to Have**

-   Internship or academic project experience in AI/ML.
-   Exposure to Generative AI or Large Language Models (LLMs).
-   Familiarity with Prompt Engineering.
-   Knowledge of LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar AI frameworks.
-   Basic understanding of Docker or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
-   Experience participating in hackathons, Kaggle competitions, or open-source projects.
