## Description

We are looking for a **Freelance Social Media Content Creator (Remote)** to support social media content creation and localisation for the Malaysian market.

The ideal candidate understands Malaysian digital culture, social media trends, and audience behaviour, and can create engaging content that connects with local audiences. You will collaborate with the regional social media team to adapt global campaigns, develop content ideas, and create social media assets using AI-powered tools and lightweight design platforms.

**Hours: 60 hours per month**

## Requirements

### Responsibilities

-   Create engaging social media content for platforms including Instagram, Threads, TikTok, X (Twitter), and other relevant channels.
-   Develop content ideas based on Malaysian audience preferences, local trends, and cultural moments.
-   Adapt global campaigns into locally relevant content for Malaysian audiences.
-   Create simple social media assets using AI-powered creative tools and platforms such as Canva, Adobe Express, Figma, or similar tools.
-   Support content planning, campaign execution, and social media calendars.
-   Ensure content aligns with the brand voice while maintaining authenticity for Malaysian audiences. Use AI tools to support content ideation, copy generation, and creative production.
-   Collaborate with the regional marketing team and incorporate feedback into content improvements.

### Requirements

-   Fluent in **English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin Chinese**.
-   Strong understanding of Malaysian social media trends, internet culture, and audience behaviour.
-   Proven experience creating content for social media platforms.
-   Experience adapting global content for local audiences.
-   Comfortable using AI-powered tools such as: ChatGPT, Canva AI, Adobe Firefly, Adobe Express, Midjourney and DALL·E.
-   Comfortable creating simple visual assets using Canva, Adobe Express, Figma, Photoshop, or similar platforms.
-   Able to work independently in a remote environment.
