DOF is a leading international offshore and subsea company with a strong maritime heritage and a global workforce. We are looking for a structured, proactive and solution-oriented **Compliance & Training Specialist** to strengthen our Global Crewing team.

In this role, you will be a key contributor in ensuring compliance with maritime regulations, maintaining competence requirements across the fleet, supporting training initiatives and further developing our competence management systems. You will work closely with crew managers, course coordinators, HSEQ personnel and operational teams across the DOF Group.

**Compliance & Governance**

-   Monitor and support compliance with maritime regulations and competence requirements for marine personnel.
-   Maintain awareness of changes in legislation, industry standards and regulatory requirements affecting seafarer competence.
-   Support the implementation and maintenance of compliance frameworks across the organization.
-   Participate in audits and vettings of crew providers, training providers and internal processes.
-   Support compliance-related initiatives, projects and improvement activities.
-   Assist with the administration and follow-up of the DOF Drug & Alcohol Program.

**Training & Competence Management**

-   Establish, maintain and continuously improve competence matrices for vessels and marine personnel.
-   Coordinate and support training programs, courses and competence development initiatives.
-   Review and approve relevant training and competence requirements for marine crew.
-   Monitor training effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
-   Work closely with course coordinators, crew managers and operational departments to ensure competence requirements are met.
-   Provide guidance on certification, training requirements and competence compliance.

**Systems & Process Improvement**

-   Operate, maintain and further develop competence and certification management systems.
-   Support digitalization and continuous improvement initiatives related to crew competence management.
-   Ensure competence data quality and reporting across the organization.
-   Assist with system implementations, upgrades and process optimization projects.
-   Support users of competence management systems and related tools.
-   Contribute to cost-effective and efficient competence management processes throughout the DOF Group.

## Requirements

We are looking for someone who brings a combination of maritime understanding, system competence and a passion for compliance and training.

**Required**

-   Relevant higher education within maritime studies, HR, administration, business or a related field.
-   Experience working within the maritime industry, crewing, competence management, training administration, compliance or a related discipline.
-   Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
-   Good understanding of maritime operations and crew competence requirements.
-   Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

**Preferred**

-   Knowledge of STCW, MLC, ISM and other maritime regulatory frameworks.
-   Experience with audits, compliance, quality management or governance processes.
-   Experience coordinating training programs, certification requirements and competence development.
-   Experience with OCS HR Competence or similar competence management systems.
-   Strong system understanding and interest in digital tools and process improvement.
-   Experience working in an international and multicultural environment.
