Candidates should possess a well-rounded knowledge of facility operations to include experience in any of the following areas: building maintenance (electrical, HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, welding) material handling equipment, and industrial refrigeration.** **$22 - $26 depending on experience ** Join our talented engineering team that supports all maintenance aspects of our Cold Storage Facility. Our facility maintenance technicians: - Promote a safe work environment and follow all safety rules and procedures - Assist in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems under supervision - Perform basic carpentry tasks such as repairing doors, windows, and doors - Assist with painting and general facility upkeep - Operate a wide variety of hand and power tools such as wrenches, sockets, gear pullers screwdrivers, jacks, drill press, screw gun, electric drill, etc. - Perform routine and preventative maintenance on the building systems - Maintain a clean and organized work environment - Report any safety hazards or concerns to management promptly **WORK ENVIORNMENT** - Able to climb up and down ladders, scaffolding, and stairwells - Able to lift/move heavy objects using carts and hand trucks - Able to sit, stand, bend and walk for extended periods - Work varied hours (evenings, weekends, and holidays) depending on operational needs - Able to work in various environments, including temperature-controlled facilities and outdoor settings ## Requirements **Job Requirements** - Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, as well as being able to multi-task - Able to properly operate a wide variety of power tools, motorized pallet-jacks and warehouse equipment - Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities - Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures - Basic knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) preferred - Successful applicants must pass a post offer, pre employment drug screening ## Benefits Benefits package includes vacation, sick leave, holidays, medical, dental, vision, life/disability and 401k (optional).
