**Machine Test & Validation Engineer**

**Position Overview**

-   Support test and validation activities on large mining equipment.
-   Validate the functionality of software and controls features, including requirements execution and system-level testing.
-   Collaborate closely with mechanics, instrumentation technicians, and operators.
-   Plan, execute, and document machine-level software testing.
-   Approximately 20% office-based and 80% hands-on in the shop or local field.

## Requirements

**Candidate Requirements**

**Education & Experience:**

-   1-2 years of relevant experience (internship experience accepted).
-   Bachelor of Science in Engineering required; 2-year degrees not accepted.
-   Comparable backgrounds considered: mechanic, construction, or landscaping experience.

**Additional Technical Skills:**

-   Troubleshooting (required)
-   Data acquisition (desired)

**Ideal Candidate Background:**

-   Hands-on experience working around heavy equipment, in construction, or on mechanical projects (e.g., cars).
