**Electronics Test Technician- Mossville, IL**

The Electronics Technician supports the Electric Power Systems team, providing hands-on technician support for a Motor Gen Lab (genset simulation) and a Genset Lab (generators and load banks) used for electronic controls testing and validation.

**Key Responsibilities**

•         Assist with test execution in the Motor Gen Lab and Genset Lab

•         Set up test benches with power sources, test boxes, multiple ECMs (electronic control modules), and other electronic components

•         Build wiring harnesses for test benches

•         Build electronics test boxes and test equipment

•         Identify, troubleshoot, and repair issues with electrical components and equipment

## Requirements

**Basic Requirements**

•         Associate degree, vocational school graduate, or equivalent technical training or experience-based learning

•         Minimum of 2 years of work experience as an Electronics Technician

•         Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic systems, including switches, relays, actuators, sensors, and other components

•         Experience with common technician hand tools (crimpers, screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers), basic power tools, and various electro-mechanical equipment

**Preferred Qualifications**

•         Experience with gensets and power generation

•         Experience with PLC controls

•         Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings

•         Familiarity with multimeters, oscilloscopes, programmable devices, and other standard electronic test equipment

•         Good oral and written communication skills

•         Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and file management
