**Position Overview**

DSN is hiring a **Mechanical Design Engineer – Engines Product Support** for an onsite role in Lafayette, IN. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an early‑career mechanical engineer to gain hands‑on experience supporting the G3600/C280 engine product line, resolving factory issues, driving Built‑In‑Quality (BIQ) initiatives, and implementing design improvements within a fast‑paced production environment.

**Key Responsibilities**

•         Engineering support for G3600/C280 Engine Current Product

•         Resolving factory issues. Built in Quality projects

•         Review engine orders: update to improved design

•         Collaborate with designs request to approve and implement changes into production

**Team Structure & Work Environment**

•         Shop Quality Team

•         Operations Team

## Requirements

**Candidate Requirements**

_**Education & Experience**_

•         1 -4 years of mechanical design experience

•         Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field required; new graduates are welcome to apply OR

•         Associate degree +4yrs of experience

_**Technical Skills**_

•         Mechanical/Engine knowledge with engines, automotive, farming equipment.

_**Desired**_

•         Mechanical design experience

•         CREO/3D CAD

•         Teamcenter Visualization

_**Soft Skills**_

•         Strong communication skills

•         Works well in a collaborative team
