## Description

Econ One seeks an intellectually curious, highly motivated individual to join the **Healthcare Economics Practice Group** as an **Analyst**. The Healthcare Economics Practice Group consults on projects related to economic analysis and econometrics for antitrust, class action, and other commercial disputes. The group specializes in matters involving monopolization, price fixing, health care reimbursement, pharmaceutical pricing, and medical monitoring costs.

They are involved in all aspects of the consulting engagement. Analysts conduct research, statistical analyses, build models, and substantiate their findings. They think critically, synthesize complex information into clear and precise thoughts for presentations and other deliverables, and communicate their results succinctly to drive projects forward.

## Requirements

-   Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-   Ability to demonstrate proficiency with data presentation.
-   Ability to work independently and as part of a team; dedicated to seeing projects through to the completion.
-   Willingness to work on multiple projects with tight deadlines.
-   Strong commitment to accuracy and quality work product.
-   Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Stata, Python, SQL, SAS, and/or R.
-   Health care or claims data experience preferred (but not required).
-   A bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of work experience or a master’s degree.

**Education**

-    BS in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Accounting, Engineering, or Finance with a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
