**Egypt Education Platform** is excited to announce an opening for an **Inclusion Support Teacher** at **GEMS British International School Al Rehab**. This role is ideal for a dedicated and compassionate educator who is passionate about supporting students with diverse learning needs and creating an inclusive environment where every child can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

### **Key Responsibilities:**

-   Provide targeted support for students with Learning Difficulties and Disabilities (LDD) through individual, small-group, and in-class interventions.
-   Develop, implement, and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and targeted intervention strategies.
-   Work collaboratively with classroom teachers to adapt curriculum, learning materials, and assessments to meet individual student needs.
-   Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.
-   Liaise with parents, teachers, therapists, and other professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to student support.
-   Promote inclusive teaching practices and provide guidance to colleagues on differentiation and appropriate accommodations.
-   Support students' social, emotional, and behavioural development to foster independence and confidence.
-   Contribute to the school's safeguarding, wellbeing, and inclusion initiatives.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field.
-   Previous experience supporting students with SEND in an international school.
-   Previous experience supporting students with Learning Difficulties and Disabilities (LDD) .
-   Strong understanding of inclusive education and differentiated instruction.
-   Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
-   Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
-   A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting learners with diverse needs.
