## Description

GEMS- TBS (The British School El-Rehab) is seeking a passionate and experienced **Mathematics Teacher** to join our Secondary Department for the **Academic Year 2026–2027**. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching aligned with the British Curriculum and contribute positively to the wider school community.

**Important note:** The position is based in **Cairo, Egypt**, and we are looking for candidates who are in Egypt or are willing to **relocate**.

**Key Responsibilities**

-   Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the British Curriculum
-   Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom learning environment
-   Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners
-   Assess, track, and report on student progress effectively
-   Maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
-   Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities
-   Participate in school meetings, CPD, and extracurricular activities
-   Uphold school policies and safeguarding procedures at all times

## Requirements

**Requirements**

-   Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics or a related field
-   IGCSE Maths and Alevel is a preference.
-   Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
-   Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience (British Curriculum preferred)
-   Excellent English language
-   Strong classroom management skills
-   Passion for teaching and commitment to student development
-   Ability to work effectively within a multicultural environment
