## Description

**Westview International Language School** is seeking a dedicated and experienced **Learning Disabilities Teacher (LDD)** for the academic year 2026-2027. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting students with learning disabilities to achieve their full potential through tailored instruction and collaboration with educators, parents, and specialists.

**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Assess and identify the learning needs of students with learning disabilities.
-   Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) that address students' unique challenges and goals.
-   Provide specialized teaching and support that promote academic progress and social-emotional development.
-   Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate effective strategies and accommodations into mainstream classrooms.
-   Maintain detailed records on student progress and adjust instructional approaches as needed.
-   Engage with parents and caregivers to foster collaboration and support for students' learning journeys.
-   Participate in ongoing professional development to remain current with best practices in special education.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Educational Psychology.
-   Minimum of 2 years teaching experience specifically supporting students with learning disabilities.
-   Strong knowledge of learning disabilities and evidence-based teaching strategies.
-   Experience developing and implementing IEPs.
-   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and staff.
-   Patience, empathy, and dedication to supporting diverse learners.
-   Relevant teaching certification or specialization in learning disabilities is a plus.
