## Description

-   Lead the preparation and review of tax returns for businesses and individuals, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable regulations
-   Oversee tax compliance processes and provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to optimize tax positions
-   Manage and resolve complex tax issues through in-depth research, technical analysis, and application of relevant laws and regulations
-   Lead tax audits, including planning, documentation, and direct liaison with external auditors and tax authorities
-   Review and approve quarterly and annual tax reports, ensuring timely submission and high-quality deliverables
-   Develop and implement tax policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance efficiency and compliance
-   Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations, assessing their impact on the organization and advising senior stakeholders accordingly
-   Manage relationships with external advisors, consultants, and regulatory bodies
-   Lead, coach, and develop a team of tax professionals, ensuring performance management and capability building
-   Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the tax function, including process optimization and automation

## Requirements

-   Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus)
-   Professional certification such as CPA,or equivalent is preferred
-   7–10 years of experience in tax, with strong exposure to corporate tax, VAT, and tax compliance
-   Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role, leading and developing teams
-   Strong knowledge of local tax laws and regulations, with the ability to interpret and apply them effectively
-   Experience in handling tax audits and dealing with tax authorities
-   Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex tax matters
-   Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
-   High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
-   Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting systems (Oracle)
-   Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
