> eJam · United States (Remote) · Full-time · Posted 2026-08-31

**Salary:** USD 90,000–110,000

**Workplace:** remote

## Description

**Type:** Full-time (remote)

**Reports to:** Director of Marketplace (TikTok Lead)

**Direct report:** Creator Community Consultant

**Compensation:** $90,000 - $110,000 annually

### **About the role**

Our TikTok creator community lives in Discord and is a core driver of TikTok Shop GMV. The Creator Coach + Creative Strategist handles the creative side — trends, angles, coaching. You own the business, management and strategy.

That means you own the structure, the economics, the growth, and the results of the community: how creators are recruited, how they're tiered, what products/offers they promote, what they're paid, what makes them stay, what contests do we run and what the whole program returns against what it costs. You're the operator who turns a Discord server full of creators into a predictable, scalable revenue channel- plus a creative engine to feed paid channels.

This is a strategy and operations role with a community wrapper around it — not a moderation job. If your instinct when you look at a creator program is to ask "what's the retention curve by cohort or what metric in the TikTok funnel is our constraint to unlock rapid growth," this is your role.

### **What you'll do**

**Own the program**

- Own the creator community end to end: structure, tiering, incentives, calendar, and outcomes.
- Design and evolve the tier system — what qualifies a creator for each tier, what they get, and what's expected in return. Make the ladder something creators actually want to climb.
- Build/manage/implement the incentive and commission architecture: commission rates, bonuses, contests, gifting and sample seeding, exclusivity where it makes sense. Model the economics before you launch anything.
- Help build and manage the training program designed to take L1 creators to L3/L4.
- Track cohorts of creators that enter and how they progress in terms of levels, GMV, etc.
- Own the creator recruiting funnel: sourcing, application, vetting, onboarding. Keep a healthy top of funnel and a clear bar for who gets in.
- Own creator retention. Churn is the quiet killer of every creator program — you'll know your cohort curves and be actively working against them; optimizing for videos per creator per period, etc.
- Own weekly full-funnel reporting to identify where our constraints are: creators, volume, impressions, videos per creator, CVR%, GPM, etc.

**Manage and enable**

- Manage the Creator Coach + Creative Strategist: set priorities, review output, hold the cadence, help them get better at the job.
- Make sure the coaching program and the angle pipeline are actually producing — that creators are shipping, improving, and converting.
- Run the operating rhythm: weekly community programming, monthly creator reviews, quarterly planning against channel targets

**Report and coordinate**

- Own the numbers: active creators, videos shipped, view volume, breakout rate, conversion, GMV by creator and by tier, cost per video, program ROI. Report them weekly to the Director of Marketplace.
- Translate community signal into strategy — what creators are saying about product, price, offers, and competitors is some of the best market research we have, and it should reach the right teams.
- Work cross-functionally with paid media (best creator content becomes paid creative), brand, and ops/supply chain (sampling, seeding, inventory for creator demand).
- Handle escalations: creator disputes, payment issues, content that's off-brand or non-compliant, and TikTok Shop policy questions.

**Build the machine**

- Document the playbook. Everything from onboarding to tier promotion to contest mechanics should be repeatable.
- Build the tooling and workflow: Discord structure, roles and permissions, bots and automations, tracking and attribution, payment ops.
- Plan for scale. Design decisions should hold at 10x the creator count, not just today's roster.

**How you work**

- High ownership. You're being handed a channel, not a task list.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and speed — this program will look different in six months and you'll be the one changing it.
- Genuinely likes creators. The best community operators are the ones creators trust.

## Requirements

- 3–5+ years in creator/influencer/affiliate program management, community management, or growth marketing at a fast-growing consumer brand — with real ownership of a number, not just execution.

- Experience running or scaling a Discord community.
- Strong commercial instincts. You're comfortable in a spreadsheet, you can model incentive structures and unit economics, and you can defend a program's ROI.
- Hands-on understanding of TikTok and TikTok Shop: how affiliate works, how commissions and attribution function, what actually drives GMV on the platform.
- Excellent written communication. Most of your leadership happens in text, in public, in front of creators.
- People management experience, or clear readiness for it.

**Strong plus**

- Experience at a fast-growing TikTok shop consumer brand.
- CPG or food & beverage background.
- Familiarity with creator/affiliate tooling and Discord automation.
- Some creator or content experience of your own — you don't have to be the creative brain, but credibility with creators helps.

## Benefits

- Competitive base salary designed to reward high performance and impact
- 401(k) plan with company matching
- Comprehensive health benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage
- Stock option plan so you can share in the value you help build
- Generous paid time off and company holidays
- Real ownership and autonomy to drive measurable growth
- Ongoing professional development opportunities as we scale
