The company offers the opportunity to those who wish to express interest in the position of “**UG Communications Engineer | Μηχανικός Τηλεπικοινωνιών Υπογείων****”**, for its premises in Chalkidiki. The position will be reported to the Mine Automations Foreman of the Underground Electricians department in Olympias.

**Main Responsibilities:**

-   Perform analysis and make recommendations on installations and expansions for Fiber Optic networks, Leaky Feeder networks and related equipment, and TETRA NDRs (amplifiers).
-   Evaluate installations and expansion needs and provide recommendations for LTE RRUs (amplifiers) and UG Telephone Centers.
-   Create, update and monitor drawings for Leaky Feeder and Fiber Optic systems.
-   Perform maintenance and periodic checks of LTE and TETRA amplifiers, Leaky Feeder Head End equipment, UG Telephone Centers, and UPS systems for the amplifiers.
-   Troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair of communication faults and breakdowns.
-   Assist as needed within the department’s scope (Process Control, Technical, Instrumentation).
-   Perform housekeeping works in the Electricians & Automation areas.  
    

**Requirements:**

-   TE degree in Informatics, Telecommunications, Digital Systems, Electronics, or any other related field.
-   3–5 years of experience in a communications-related field.
-   Strong understanding of communications systems (cell, satellite, radio, and fiber optics).
-   Knowledge of TETRA, LTE and Leaky Feeder technology will be viewed favourably.
-   Experience with field meters and oscilloscopes, and knowledge of fiber optic connections is preferred.
-   Ability to follow instructions.
-   Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
-   Safety-conscious mindset.
-   Technology oriented with basic networking knowledge.
