The company offers the opportunity to those who wish to express interest in the position of “**Long Term Mine Planning & Services Engineer****”**, for its premises in Chalkidiki. The position will be reported to the Mine Planning and Engineering Superintendentof the Technical Services department in Olympias Mine.

**Main Responsibilities:**

·        Develop, maintain and continuously optimize the Life-of-Mine (LoM) plan and long-term production and development plans, integrating geological, operational, technical and economic data to support the safe, sustainable and profitable extraction of mineral resources.

·        Prepare long-term production forecasts, mine designs, development schedules and planning assumptions that support annual budgets, multi-year business plans and Life-of-Mine planning.

·        Conduct long-term planning studies, scenario analyses and economic evaluations, providing engineering recommendations to support strategic business decisions.

·        Develop underground mine layouts and engineering designs, including declines, levels, sublevels, crosscuts, ore drives, ventilation drives, raises, escapeways and supporting infrastructure.

·        Plan and coordinate long-term mine services infrastructure, including ventilation, power distribution, dewatering, water supply, communications and emergency systems, ensuring future mining activities are supported by the required infrastructure.

·        Collaborate with Geology, Operations, Technical Services and other stakeholders to ensure alignment between Life-of-Mine, medium-term and operational mine plans.

·        Prepare technical reports, presentations and planning documentation while maintaining accurate planning datasets and engineering records.

·        Support capital development planning, reserve estimation processes and continuous improvement initiatives related to long-term mine planning and engineering.

**Requirements:**

·        Degree in Mining Engineering or a related discipline.

·        Professional Engineer registration is required.

·        Postgraduate degree in Mining Engineering or a related field will be considered an asset.

·        Minimum 5–6 years of experience in underground mine planning, including Life-of-Mine and long-term mine planning. Experience in ventilation engineering and mine services planning will be considered an asset.

·        Advanced proficiency in mine planning and design software, including Deswik, Datamine and AutoCAD, as well as ventilation modelling software such as Ventsim.

·        Strong knowledge of underground mine planning, mine design, long-term scheduling, Life-of-Mine planning, ventilation engineering and mine services infrastructure.

·        Strong analytical, problem-solving and strategic planning skills with the ability to evaluate alternatives and provide practical engineering solutions.

·        Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.

·        Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills.

·        Fluency in English and Greek, both written and spoken.

·        Driver’s License.
