**Workplace:** hybrid

**Department:** 3. Commercial

## Description

**Who We Are!**

Elementl Power Inc. is an advanced nuclear project developer and independent power producer, building scalable pathways for clean, resilient energy. We break the stalemate in advanced nuclear deployment by delivering turnkey development, financing, and ownership solutions — empowering customers to access nuclear power without the burden of operating assets.

**The Opportunity.**

We're excited to add a Communications & Community Affairs Manager to our growing team! Reporting to the VP of Communications & Corporate Affairs, you'll lead local community engagement, media relations, and communications execution across Elementl's nuclear development projects — building relationships with local elected officials, environmental groups, and community organizations, and supporting local press interactions and project milestones across regional, state, and local audiences.

You'll oversee community-relations planning, manage project communications and timelines, and partner with third-party communications and public affairs agencies in support of nuclear project development. Your work ensures stakeholders get the right information at the right time — strengthening trust, generating community support, advancing project milestones, and reinforcing Elementl's reputation as a responsible, community-focused clean energy developer.

**What You'll Do!**

Project Support

- Serve as the primary communications partner to the Project Management Office and Project Director, owning the strategy, planning, and execution of local project-specific communications throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate cross-functional input from project and corporate teams to prepare and deliver accurate, timely information to external stakeholders.
- Partner with third-party communications and public affairs agencies to develop and manage community-relations plans for each nuclear project site, ensuring proactive and unified messaging across all channels.

Community Relations & Local Engagement

- Serve as Elementl's contact for local community leaders, elected officials, environmental groups, local institutions, and residents across assigned project communities.
- Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, educational institutions, community organizations, and other key stakeholders that influence project awareness.
- Maintain awareness of local public sentiment, priorities, and partnership opportunities.
- Partner with legal and regulatory teams to support state and local permitting and regulatory processes, facilitating engagement with elected officials, agencies, and other key stakeholders.
- Plan and execute community-facing engagement: public meetings, roundtables, listening sessions, educational events, site visits, and local institutional partnerships.

Local Media & Content Development

- Manage localized media relations, including proactive outreach, responding to inquiries, coordinating project-specific press interactions, and preparing spokespeople for local interviews or public briefings.
- Develop clear, accessible communications on complex topics, including environmental assessments, regulatory milestones, construction phases, safety, and community benefits.
- Produce content including FAQs, talking points, fact sheets, presentations, web and social content, and community briefings, ensuring alignment with the corporate brand and messaging framework.

## Requirements

**What We're Looking for & Who You Are!**

You bring 5–7 years of experience in communications, community relations, public affairs, or government relations, with a bachelor's degree in Communications or a related field.

You have hands-on experience with:

- Engaging directly with community stakeholders, local officials, or local media
- Conducting community market research and formulating community engagement plans and programs
- Operating with a degree of autonomy while partnering closely with external agencies and the corporate communications team
- Working across multiple concurrent projects with shifting priorities and levels of intensity

**It Would Be Great If:**

- You have experience in energy, infrastructure, or another regulated industry.

We are seeking candidates who live in Southeast, OH, in or near Columbus.

The salary range for this role is $115,000 - $135,000.
