We are looking for an English EAL Teacher for an international school based in Wuxi, Jiangsu province. This is a full-time position starting from the August 2026 academic year.

Job responsibilities

-   Teach the subject of English as an additional language to secondary school students utilizing the IGCSE framework and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
-   Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
-   Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
-   Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
-   Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
-   Develop supportive and safe learning environments

## Requirements

-   Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred
-   CELTA/DELTA or Language degree AND formal EAL qualification or other relevant degree
-   Excited about teaching EAL learners throughout the age-range of G9-12
-   2+ years of good quality post-qualification experience including IGCSE EAL
