## Description

We are looking for a Music Teacher for an international bilingual school in Xiamen, teaching students from kindergarten through the Middle Years Programme (MYP). This position is available from February 2027.

Job Responsibilities

-   Teach music to students from kindergarten through MYP, adapting lessons to different ages and abilities
-   Plan engaging lessons that develop musical understanding, creativity, and practical performance skills
-   Deliver music theory and practical instruction through singing, instrumental activities, listening, and composition
-   Direct ensembles, choirs, or instrumental groups and organize school performances and concerts
-   Design assessments, monitor student progress, and provide constructive feedback
-   Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and school activities
-   Maintain clear communication with parents and caregivers
-   Create a safe, supportive learning environment that encourages participation and musical expression

## Requirements

-   Bachelor’s degree in Music, Music Education, or a related field, with a music specialization required
-   Valid teaching certification or license
-   At least two years of classroom teaching experience
-   International curriculum experience preferred
