We are looking for an English Acquisition Teacher for a bilingual school based in Changzhou. This position involves teaching Grade 5 and Grade 6 students and is available for the 2026–27 academic year, with an immediate start.

Job responsibilities

-   Teach English Acquisition to Grade 5 and Grade 6 students, ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
-   Prepare lessons, design and mark assessments, and write report comments
-   Develop students’ English reading, writing, speaking and listening skills
-   Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
-   Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
-   Contribute to the development of a comprehensive English Acquisition curriculum
-   Collaborate with other teachers and departments to support students’ learning and English language development across subjects

## Requirements

-   Bachelor’s degree, preferably in education
-   Teaching licence
-   Experience teaching in a mixed-ability classroom
-   A proven track record of success in the classroom
