We are looking for a Middle School Art Teacher for a K12 international school located in Chengdu. This is a full-time position available for an immediate start, with a start date no later than the end of February 2027.

Job details

-   Teach Art to middle school students, tailoring lessons to their developmental stage and individual needs
-   Organise art exhibitions and creative activities that give students a platform to showcase their work
-   Design an innovative art curriculum that brings in diverse cultural and artistic elements
-   Manage the classroom with a positive, nurturing atmosphere, supporting each student's progress and wellbeing
-   Communicate regularly with parents and offer guidance on their child's creative growth
-   Keep up with trends in international art education and continue developing your own practice
-   Maximum of 25 teaching periods per week, with occasional weekend or after-school work for student activities and competitions

## Requirements

-   Excellent spoken and written English, with clear pronunciation
-   Bachelor's degree or above in Fine Arts, Art Education or a related subject
-   At least 2 years of art teaching experience at middle school level, ideally in an international school
-   Recognised teaching qualification
-   Specialism in either 2D or 3D art; experience organising art exhibitions strongly preferred
-   Passionate, responsible, and a strong team player in a multicultural setting
