We are looking for a Biology Teacher for an international school based in Hangzhou. This position is available from the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year in August/September 2026.

About the role

As a High School Biology Teacher, you inspire students to explore the living world while developing strong scientific knowledge, practical skills, and critical thinking.

-   Teach engaging A Level Biology lessons that build subject knowledge and scientific confidence
-   Deliver practical experiments and strengthen students’ laboratory and analytical skills
-   Prepare students for high-level assessments through effective instruction, feedback, and exam practice
-   Encourage scientific inquiry and connect biological concepts to real-world and global issues
-   Collaborate with colleagues to enrich cross-curricular learning and wider school activities

## Requirements

-   Bachelor’s degree in biology or a related field. Master’s preferred
-   Positive, student focused mindset and belief in student growth
-   Able to learn and apply Chinese standards and new technologies
-   Strong collaboration and communication skills in a dual language immersion setting
