## Description

We are looking for Social Studies Teachers for an international school based in Beijing. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in August 2026.

K-12 school in Beijing's Chaoyang District dedicated to cultivating future citizens for personal well-being, lifelong development, and social progress. By integrating general competence into subject courses and using problem-solving projects, the school adopts a "student-centered" approach to encourage active learning and real-life problem-solving skills.

Job responsibilities

-   Teach the subject of Social Studies to middle school and high school students in secondary education utilizing the IB framework and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
-   Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
-   Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
-   Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
-   Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
-   Develop supportive and safe learning environments
-   Complete other teaching-related activities as arranged by the school

## Requirements

-   Bachelor’s Degree or above in education or related field
-   Teaching experience with the IB curriculum
-   Excellent communications skills
