## Description

We are looking for a Science Teacher for an international school in Xian. This position is available from the upcoming 2027/28 academic year in August 2027

About the School

Xian has long been home to this international school, and it is the city's first institution to offer the prestigious International Baccalaureate (IB) programs. The school provides educational programs ranging from the Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme, to the Diploma Programme, covering all educational levels from kindergarten to high school

Job Responsibilities

-   Teach science to secondary school students using the IB framework, ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
-   Prepare lessons and practical investigations, design and mark assessments, and write report comments
-   Collaborate with fellow educators to develop and enhance the school's science curriculum
-   Assess and monitor students’ progress and set targets to support their learning and development
-   Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
-   Maintain a supportive and safe learning environment, including safe laboratory practices

## Requirements

-   Bachelor’s degree or above
-   At least two years of relevant teaching experience
-   Current teaching certification or a bachelor’s degree in education
-   A good understanding of the IB MYP and DP curriculum
-   Excellent English communication skills
