## Description

We are looking for a Kindergarten English Teacher for a bilingual school in Wuhan. This position is available from the upcoming 2026-27 academic year in August 2026.

About the school

Located in Huangpi District, Wuhan, this private bilingual and international high school offers both domestic and international pathways, including IB, AP and A-Level programmes. The campus covers around 51.6 mu and is designed with modern academic, sports and boarding facilities, creating a well-resourced environment for students preparing for both Chinese and overseas university routes. The school has developed from the former international division of Wuhan No. 6 High School and focuses on a dual-track model that combines strong academic preparation, international curricula, language development and a broad range of co-curricular activities.

Job responsibilities

-   Teach English to kindergarten students, completing 9 English classes per day, with each class lasting around 30 minutes
-   Create fun, interactive and age-appropriate English lessons to build children’s interest in learning English and develop their basic listening and speaking skills
-   Prepare lessons and teaching materials in line with the kindergarten’s teaching curriculum
-   Manage the classroom effectively and create a positive, safe and engaging learning environment
-   Work closely with co-teachers to support students’ daily learning and development
-   Participate in kindergarten teaching activities, events and other school-arranged teaching-related tasks
-   Communicate with parents in a friendly and professional manner when needed to update them on children’s learning progress

## Requirements

-   Bachelor’s degree or above
-   Relevant teaching qualification preferred, such as TEFL, TESOL, CELTA or other recognized teaching certificate
-   Prior kindergarten or young learner English teaching experience is preferred
-   Good classroom management skills and the ability to deliver fun, game-based and interactive lessons
